Once across these bridges the train curves around past the now abandoned O&W ice house and the wye used to turn passenger trains. The ice house is a reminder of the milk traffic that helped keep the railroad going before WWII. The last milk shipment on the O&W was in 1952... This ice house and tool shed were scratch-built, but kits of both are now available from Branchline and Old & Weary Car Shop respectively. |
